The business of sheep breeders in Bulgaria is endangered by the cheap lamb on the Bulgarian market imported from Macedonia, Sofia-based television BTV reports.
The TV points out that Bulgarian cattle breeders state that the reason for the cheaper lamb from the country is that the Macedonian producers receive high subsidies from the state.
Sheep breeders in Bulgaria point out that the price at which they sell lamb reaches up to 18 leva (9 euros), while in the trade network it is sold for about 20 leva (10 euros).
