MoFA selects six candidates for ambassadors

Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani, when asked by the media regarding the selection of candidates for ambassadors, stated that six candidates have been selected, but that legally he is still unable to speak about the persons in question.

Citing government sources, the media reported a few days ago that the proposals for Zoran Popov, the current Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to be sent to Washington, Teuta Arifi, have been proposed for ambassador to the EU, in Brussels, and the current director of the National Agency Viktor Dimovski, for ambassador in Paris. The list also includes Meto Beleski, career diplomat, who has been proposed for ambassador to Belgium, Rexhep Demiri, the current consul general in Munich is the proposal for ambassador to Switzerland. From DUI comes the proposal for Ambassador to Oslo.
