The State Statistical Office Director Apostol Simovski referred to the technical error regarding the data from the religious affiliation in the 2021 Census, for which he said that they apologized and that it has been corrected.
“Regarding the religious affiliation, we corrected a technical error that we made on the first day of the announcement. We failed to notice that we have made a permutation in the field of atheists and evangelical Methodists. We are both human made of flesh and blood that make mistakes and it is only human to admit our error and apologize for it. We are absolutely sorry that such a mistake was made and that is why we admit it and apologize. We did not want that to happen, but it did happen, we cannot bring back time,” Simovski said in an interview with Sitel TV.
The SSO announced on Tuesday that a technical error was made in the 2021 Census when entering the data on the religious affiliation of the citizens.
