The laws are not respected and the functions are often abused, the head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption Vilma Ruskovska said in an interview with TV 24.
When asked how the country is dealing with the corruption, she replied briefly:
“There is a lot of corruption in the country. We work intensively and do our best. We receive information from everywhere, the Ministry of Interior, the Anti-Corruption, the Financial Police, and we open cases by received information,” said Ruskovska.
