23-year-old Jordan Gorgiev was sentenced to three years in prison for running over and killing 24-year-old Viktorija Nikolova from Radovish on January 20 this year in a car accident near City Mall in Skopje.
The Court Council took into account all the aggravating and mitigating circumstances. The circumstance that the vehicle was going more than 17.3 km per hour, the social danger of committing criminal responsibility as well as the frequency of these crimes, that human life was lost.
Gorgiev pleaded guilty to the crime and expressed remorse.
