Out of 1,908 tests performed in the past 24 hours, 127 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered, with 20 of them being reinfections. 123 patients have recovered and no one has died in the past 24 hours. Additionally, two persons who died in a previous period were reported. The number of active cases in the country is 802.
The new cases are in Skopje – 57, Bitola – 24, Ohrid – 7, Prilep and Veles by 5, Struga, Berovo and Valandovo by 4, Kavadarci and Kichevo by 3, Kumanovo and Strumica by 2, and in Shtip, Gevgelija, Negotino, Sveti Nikole, Delchevo, Demir Kapija and Makedonska Kamenica 1 each.
According to the Register of Deaths with a diagnosis of COVID-19 from “Moj Termin”, two deceased persons from Skopje (82) and Ohrid (91) were additionally reported. One person died at home and one in hospital, and were reported in the period between 02.04 and 12.04.2022.
So far, a total of 2,000,910 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the country. The total number of cases in our country since the onset of the epidemic is 308,878, the number of recovered patients is 298,811, the death toll stands at 9,265, and the number of active cases is 802 nationwide.
