Response of the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD), as the leading organization of Macedonians outside Macedonia, to Thursday’s false information shared by the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev about the alleged “concentration camps” in Macedonia.
“Radev is one of the reasons why the relations between Macedonia and Bulgaria are deteriorating. Bulgarian state attitudes are xenophobic and discriminatory,” said the UMD.
UMD requests from the Government of the Republic of Macedonia to immediately close the Bulgarian Cultural Center “VanchoMihajlov” in Bitola. Everything else is an excuse. Macedonia is a European country, the Diaspora adds.
