VMRO-DPMNE leader HristijanMickoski, along with Vice President VladoMisajlovski and International Secretary Stefan Andonovski, met on Wednesday with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy OlivérVárhelyi.
At the meeting, opposition leader Mickoski stressed that Macedonia has made numerous concessions to achieve its strategic national interest in membership in the European Union. Macedonia’s negotiations with the EU should start immediately, without additional conditions from either side. VMRO-DPMNE will not accept the denial of the Macedonian identity, language, historical continuity and uniqueness.
The current political and economic situation in the country was discussed at the meeting, as well as the dynamics of the realization of the projects financed by the IPA funds in some of the municipalities.
