Macedonian Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, after returning from a visit to Kyiv and meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said Friday in Parliament that Ukraine will receive different types of assistance from North Macedonia, depending on the needs that will be determined later, and if necessary military.
“The general commitment of the state is to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. So I went to give personal support for the country to regain control of the whole territory. That support is significant, possibly in financial, material and sanitary terms, depending on what Ukraine will ask for. It could certainly be military,” the Parliament Speaker said.
According to Xhaferi, the obligations will arise from the needs that will be expressed and the Parliament should define the crimes that have been committed to initiate a resolution.
