Ahmeti hopes for EU accession talks date in June

The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) Ali Ahmeti hopes that North Macedonia will receive a date for accession negotiations with the EU in June. Answering a media question what is plan B if a date is not obtained in June, Ahmeti said on Friday that he does not belong to the camp of skeptics and that he hopes that this issue will get a positive epilogue.
“There are enough activities, both from our friends from the international community, but also the bridges of communication between the two countries are functional. I expect the epilogue to be positive,” said Ahmeti, during the participation in the promotion of a book in the Municipality of Chair.
