The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) Porphyry today at the liturgy for reconciliation with the Macedonian Church said that after 55 years he healed the deep and painful wound of schism with that church and that this is a great day and miracle of God.
“Let’s rejoice, and let’s rejoice, brothers and sisters, because today the fullness of the church rejoices, heaven and earth rejoice, all the saints rejoice, Saint Sava and all who are planted in its root, said Porphyry in the temple Saint Sava in Belgrade where a liturgy of reconciliation was served together with the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia HH Stefan and the Archbishops of both churches.
