Commission on Infectious Diseases schedules meeting on monkey pox situation

The Commission for Infectious Diseases is monitoring the situation with monkey pox throughout the world, as well as the recommendations of the World Health Organization which currently do not provide for restriction of movement of people and goods within the countries where they are not registered, Commission spokesperson ZlateMehmedovikj told MIA.

A meeting of the Commission is scheduled on Wednesday, and one of the points of discussion will be the situation with monkeypox in the world and the possibility of possible transmission in the country and the readiness of the system to deal with a possible epidemic or pandemic that would occur in the world and in N. Macedonia.
