Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met on Sunday in Ohrid with Nobel Prize laureate New York University professor Paul Krugman, who is on a several-day visit to the country and is a speaker on Monday and will participate in the second Skopje Economic and Financial Forum.
During the visit to Ohrid, Prime Minister Kovachevski, accompanied by Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi, had a joint tour of some of the most important cultural and historical sites in Ohrid.
Prime Minister Kovachevski, Minister of Finance Besimi and Professor Krugman then had a working lunch to discuss the topics of the Skopje Economic and Financial Forum, which this year is dedicated to the topic “Sustaining growth in times of uncertainty and beyond.”
