After the announcement that starting June 10, all children who do not live on the territory of this municipality will have to be taked out of the preschools in the Municipality of Karposh, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights points out that the decision of the Municipality cannot be applied retroactively, i.e. must not cover children who were previously duly enrolled in kindergartens. The Committee stresses that it can be valid only from the moment of its adoption.

Regarding this issue, several parents addressed the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, worried that such a decision would negatively affect their children, some of whom are disabled, after which the Committee addressed the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with a request for action in the present case.
