The car is the most common means of transport used in our country. Over 35 percent of the total working age population aged 15 and over uses a car to work or school. One in five citizens walks, while seven percent use public transportation (city buses), and 2.6 percent use intercity buses, while only 2.3 percent ride bicycles.
Only 0.06 percent or a total of 341 people travel by train to work or school. Over eight percent use organized transportation to work or school, and just as many say they use more than one means of transportation.
Over 10 thousand citizens or 1.65 percent said they do not travel to work or school.
