We are witnessing dramatically difficult times for the citizens and for Macedonia. The biggest threat to the security and everyday life of families is the rising inflation, price shocks that occur on a daily basis. Gasoline prices that have increased by twice as much, electricity that will go up again and again. Increasing prices of all products in the markets. The wallets of the families are empty, just as the purchasing power of the population decreases dramatically. And what strikes in this whole crisis is the turning of a deaf ear of the government led by SDSM and DUI. They rejected our proposals in the Parliament for the Government to give up part of the excise tax on fuels and to apply the preferential VAT item for some of the products in the markets. Even today, every person who waits for fuel at gas stations and buys expensive food in the markets should know that this government of SDSM and DUI is to blame for that, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said at a press conference on Friday.
“The inability of the SDSM/DUI government to manage the whole crisis is the biggest threat to the security of each family in Macedonia. Even in such circumstances, the government led by SDSM and DUI needs to defocus attention from life in price shocks and enormous inflation and increased poverty. And that is why two parallel rigged processes are taking place at the moment,” added Mickoski.
