The Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) conducted a public opinion poll on the topic: “100 days of Government”.
The research covered the general perception of the citizens about the work of the new reform Government in the first 100 days, but also about the work of the ministers and the fulfillment of the expectations or disappointment of the citizens in certain areas such as justice, healthcare, education, economy, etc. Where possible, comparisons are made with data from previous surveys, or comparisons with the previous year so the reader can see how the support increased or decreased.
VMRO-DPMNE with the highest lead over SDSM so far after this agency performs rating measurements. VMRO-DPMNE has 20.7%, and SDSM 14.6.
According to research data:
– The Government in the first 100 days did not meet the expectations of the majority of citizens 65.1%. Almost a quarter of the citizens (23%) are completely disappointed in all areas, while an insignificant minority of 4.7% are not disappointed in any area.
– Citizens are disappointed in the field of economy (13.9%), healthcare (10.6%), foreign affairs and diplomacy (8.5%) and justice (8.2%).
– The majority of citizens (63.7%) do not trust the government. About half of citizens (51.8%) believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction.
