The search for the 28-year-old Martin, who has been missing since Saturday afternoon, when he dived with his friends at the famous Miti beach in Poseidi and was carried away by the sea currents, continues for the fourth day in the sea area of Halkidiki.
Greek media reports that, a little after 9:00, the mother of the young man from North Macedonia, along with relatives, arrived at the base of the OFKATH volunteer search and rescue team in Perea, Thessaloniki, in order to prepare and leave together for Halkidiki.
According to information, the boy’s mother arrived from America at the Thessaloniki airport yesterday evening, in order to participate in the search for her son.
“I left the United States to come to Greece to find my child. I have great anxiety and anticipation. Thank you to everyone that is helping us. Both the authorities and the volunteers. The OFKAT team has been with us since the first moment and I thank them for what they do. We have faith,” the young man’s mother told Protothema.gr.
