The referendum is the ultimate form of democratic expression of the will of the people. No issue or process must be excluded from the possibility of going to a referendum. The referendum is an absolute opportunity for the government to hear and implement the opinion of the people, says VMRO-DPMNE in a press release on Wednesday.
“If SDSM and the government are convinced that what they are doing with the Bulgarianization of the country is correct, then where is the problem and why are they running away from a referendum. Apparently, SDSM and the traitor Kovachevski know that the people are strongly against Bulgarianization, and that is why they are running away from a referendum. VMRO-DPMNE accepted the referendum initiative, and it is a way to preserve language, history and identity. The people must be heard,” the party press release reads.
