Heating price goes up as of Monday, Government to declare state of crisis this month

As of Monday August 1, the cost of central heating is increasing by 14.18 percent, and this month it is expected that a crisis situation in the energy sector will be declared again. The Government announces new anti-crisis measures for citizens and companies, and the main task, as they say, will be to provide electricity and other energy sources during the winter.

This is the second increase in the price of steam this year and with it the average bill of 1800 denars increases by 250 denars. The decision on the new price, according to ERC’s rationale, is due to the drastically increased gas prices on the world stock exchanges, which are traded at ten times higher prices than before the crisis.
