On Sunday evening on the Gevgelija-Skopje highway, at the Miravci interchange, a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Serbian national license plates did not stop at a stop sign given by police officers from the Border Crossing and Border Surveillance Police Station “Bogorodica”.
Soon after, the vehicle was found and 12 migrants in it. The migrants were escorted and placed in the “Vinojug” Transit Reception Center in Gevgelija.
The Public Prosecutor was informed about the event and after fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
