Starting January 1, the certificate of citizenship will be able to be issued in electronic form through the National Portal for electronic services or through qualified electronic registered delivery to an electronic address. Citizens will be able to submit requests for the issuance of an identity card and passport electronically.
The Macedonian Minister of Internal Affairs, Oliver Spasovski, informed on Facebook that the legal amendments have been adopted for the complete digitization of the processes in order to improve the experience of citizens when extracting personal documents.
