Saturday night on “Bojmija” street in Skopje, police officers from the Road Traffic Safety Department of Skopje seized six vehicles, due to participation in the so-called ‘wild races”, the Ministry of the Interior informed on Sunday.
“The vehicles will be taken to the Technical Inspection Station, where they will undergo an extraordinary technical inspection and appropriate charges will be filed against the owners. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue with the measures and activities in the coming period in order to ensure safer traffic,” the Ministry of the Interior said in a press release.
Tetovo police have already impounded several cars and motorcycles that had been modified and intended for illegal racing through city streets and local roads.
