Yesterday’s announcement of the resignation of Irina Buhova as director of the State Health and Sanitary Inspectorate is another confirmation that her directorship and management of the institution is connected with many scandals and crimes, and consequently the last one that we announced a few days ago, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Dimche Arsovski told a press briefing on Tuesday.
“We can say that one part of our goal, to remove this director who does not manage the institution well and involved her in dozens of crimes, has been fulfilled, regardless of the fact that we do not expect a better solution from the government, which would replace her. But what is even more important is that Irina Buhova now has to bear responsibility for what she did and for the bad management and all the crimes that were committed in that institution. There’s no way that after each scandal, any director or official of the SDSM and DUI authorities resigns and the whole story of responsibility ends here. No, that must not happen. It has become a practice for SDSM officials to resign and to think that they will not be held accountable for the committed and irregular work, because all the institutions of prosecution, public prosecutor’s office, Ministry of Interior, etc. They protect them because they are their servants. Let’s tell them publicly, as a political party, as Dimche Arsovski, first of all to Irina Buhova, and then to all the others who resigned and thought that their responsibility ended there, it will not be like that. No crime will go unpunished. Be sure of it. No one, absolutely no one, will flee responsibility,” said spokesperson Arsovski.
