The incompetence and criminality of the anti-Macedonian government led by Kovachevski brought the energy system in Macedonia to its knees. Tenders in private and the crime of electricity procurement, emptying of accumulations, the destruction of REK Bitola are a direct consequence of the price shock felt by the citizens, but also the economy in the country, says opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
“Electricity bills for households have increased by 50%, while the electricity bills of companies have increased by over 400%.
“Chambers and the business sector make daily appeals to the government for help in dealing with the energy crisis, but the government is silent. Over 5,500 legal entities have closed their businesses due to the incompetence of the criminal authorities,” says the largest opposition party.
