Industrial production in July decreased by 5 percent on an annual basis in July 2022, compared to July 2021, decreased by five percent. In the period January – July this year, compared to the same period last year, there was a growth of 1.2 percent, the State Statistics Office (SSO) announced on Wednesday.
Viewed by sectors, industrial production in July of this year compared to July last year recorded a decrease of 5.6 percent in Processing Industry, and a decrease of 12.2 percent in Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 12.2 percent. There is an increase of 7.3 percent in the Mining and quarrying sector.
