As of today (Thursday), the measures to save electricity have come into force, with which the consumption should be reduced by 15 percent. The measures were adopted by a government decision on August 16, and will be valid until March 31, 2023.
The measures refer to households and companies as recommendations, but also to state institutions as obligations. Turning off the decorative lighting on the facades of public buildings and cultural monuments, turning off light bulbs when there is enough daylight, cooling with air conditioners at no less than 27 degrees and heating at a maximum of 20 degrees, turning off computers after finishing work, changing filters regularly of heating devices and air conditioners, printing only the necessary materials, replacing windows with energy-efficient ones, are only part of the obligations that state institutions must implement.
