Let’s hold triple elections, organize a referendum, snap parliamentary and presidential elections on the same day, said opposition VMRO-DPMNE on Friday.
“If the anti-Macedonian SDS and Dimitar Kovachevski are confident that they enjoy the support of the citizens and that their policies are correct, then there is no reason to be afraid of scheduling elections.
“The very fact that Dimitar Kovachevski runs away from facing the people shows that he is only interested in mere power for as long as possible, and takes steps to negate Macedonia in order to stay in power. The anti-Macedonian SDS is running away from the elections because it saw the debacle it experienced in Tetovo, where the difference was 2 to 1 in favor of VMRO-DPMNE,” reads the opposition party’s press release.
