The leader of opposition VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski posted on Facebook Saturday that Kiril Pecakov maintained the tradition despite the fact that the Government and President Pendarovski did everything in their power to stop it.
“Kiril Pecakov maintained the tradition despite the fact that the Government and Pendarovski did everything in their power to stop it. The Ohrid Marathon has been preserved and will continue to run. Today, to my great pleasure, as well as many other well-wishers, I attended the marathon that was held and will continue to be held,” reads Mickoski’s Facebook post.
