169,449 tourists were registered in the country in July of this year, of which 54 percent are domestic, and 46 percent are foreign tourists, the State Statistics Office announced on Monday.
The number of overnight stays in July 2022 is 700,629, of which 74.3 percent are from domestic tourists, and 25.7 percent from foreign tourists.
In July 2022, the highest number of tourists came from Turkey, 12,841, followed by Serbia 9,393, Poland 5,412, Germany 3,698, USA 2,721, Bulgaria 2,286, Slovenia 2,099, Greece 1,828… Out of the total number of tourists in July this year, over 105,000 were in the lake areas, and over 36,000 in the capital. Hotel accommodation usage 99,000, and over 56,000 stayed in houses, holiday apartments and rooms for rent.
