We have the lowest electricity production on record and that is why the losses occur in ELEM, while at the same time there are huge fixed costs, the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska told Kanal 77, stressing that due to the wrong approach of the authorities in energy, today we have a higher price of electricity and poorer citizens.
“The liberalization that they did led to this today, a higher price and poorer citizens, and there was no need for liberalization and when they did it they told stories that they were abandoning thermal plants, and that they would focus on gas plants and renewable energy sources, and the second phase of the wind park in Bogdanci has not been finished in five years,” said Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
The opposition vice president pointed out that while the Government is justifying that there are losses due to the fact that they sold electricity to EVN below the production price, the reality is that the production price depends a lot on how much you produced, and it is produced historically at the lowest level ever.
