Electricity price went up by 11.2 percent, the average price in the first half of the year was MKD 5,761 per kilowatt hour

The average price of electricity for households in the first half of 2022 is 5,761 denars per kilowatt hour, which represents an increase of 11.2 percent compared to the second half of 2021, the State Statistics Office (SSO) said on Friday.

The average price of electricity without value added tax for end consumers, except for households, ranges from MKD 10,316 to MKD 14,782 per kilowatt hour by consumer group.

The average price of natural gas without value added tax for end consumers, except for households, ranges from MKD 57,840 to MKD 65,380 per standard cubic meter by consumer group.
