The Army of the Republic of North Macedonia will get 78 million dollars of US support in the development of its capacities, modernization, equipping and development of cyber defense capacities.
The US support, as announced by the Ministry of Defense, is aimed at achieving NATO’s capability goals and increasing interoperability with the US armed forces and with the allies in the Alliance.
“The USA is our long-term strategic partner in the development of army capacities. This 78 million dollars is a significant support in the development of capacities, taking into account that in the past 30 years, through the program of international military assistance, the United States has donated military equipment worth 160 million dollars,” reads the press release.
