With good management, Macedonia will not need to import electricity and the price of heating will not increase, said VMRO-DPMNE on Wednesday.
With the full utilization of the energy capacities, which implies the activity of the three blocks in REC Bitola and active REC Oslomej, as well as TEC Negotino and TE-TO, adding to that the hydro potentials, Macedonia will be able to meet its electricity needs on its own.
If the Wind Park and solar power plants are added to all that, a small export is also possible.
“The residents of Skopje will not have a problem with expensive heating, nor with an increase in the price of heating services if cheap gas is procured. With a low price of gas, reliable heating will be ensured for the people of Skopje, as well as normal functioning of TE-TO, which will produce electricity for the economy”, the opposition party underlined.
