Geer: The EU accession process does not necessarily mean giving up history and identity, on the contrary, it brings stability and prosperity

Good neighborly relations are an essential part of the European integration process, and the process of accession to the EU can help for greater promotion and improvement of relations, it does not necessarily mean giving up history and identity, but demanding. Membership brings advantages such as greater stability, prosperity and democratic accountability, said European Ambassador David Geer in his address at the “Enlargement Opportunities” conference.
  2. “The past was not always easy, and when we talk about the past we focus on the exceptional achievements when we went from former enemies to collaborators, putting aside questions of history for the sake of common interest”, EU Ambassador Geer added.
