The Ministry of Education spent over half a million euros on printing disposable scripts, money from the World Bank, to cover its incompetence, instead of printing textbooks for primary school students in a timely manner, spokesperson of opposition VMRO-DPMNE Marija Miteva pointed out at a press conference on Friday.
“From the document of the World Bank, it can be seen that over half a million euros of money was used to print disposable scripts. Although the Ministry of Education has money in the budget that is planned for the printing of textbooks for a longer period of time and which should serve several generations, still this year the SDS-led government was late in printing the textbooks and the beginning of the school year was put into question,” Miteva said.
