Macedonia to receive 500,000 cubic meters of gas per day through Bulgaria

The country will be able to be supplied from several sources of gas through Bulgaria. This was made possible after today’s signing of the Agreement for intersystem connection for the supply and distribution of gas at the Kyustendil-Zhidilovo interconnection point between GA-MA AD and Buglartransgaz EAD.

The contract was signed by the executive director of GA-MA AD Skopje, AleksandarArsikj and the executive director of Bulgartransgaz, Vladimir Malinov, and the executive director of National Energy Resources AD Skopje, BajramRexhepi, was also present. The document was signed in the presence of the Minister of Economy KreshnikBekteshi, the Minister of Energy of Bulgaria Rosen Hristov and the Macedonian Ambassador in SofiaAgnesaRusi-Popovska.
