Three municipalities in the country, during the energy crisis, consumed more electricity than last year. The increase in the consumed electricity in October this year, compared to the same month last year, was in Arachinovo by 474 percent, which means that the consumption is almost 5 times higher. In Studenichani the increase is 11 percent, and in Lozovo it up by 12 percent.
“Out of 81 municipalities, 65 municipalities achieved savings of at least 15 percent in October, of which 12 municipalities achieved savings greater than 50 percent. Sixteen municipalities failed to save more than 15%, and only three had a higher consumption in 2022,” said Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi at a press conference on Tuesday.
