As of Thursday, public utility water companies will receive a cheaper price of electricity that will be provided to them through ESM sales and will help these utility companies improve liquidity, said Marko Bislimoski, president of the Regulatory Commission for Energy and Water Services (RKE) at a meeting with representatives from the Association of Water Service Providers ADKOM.
Bislimoski asked RKE to determine the final price of water so that investments can be increased and water loss can be reduced by about 60 percent, as well as employment in public utility water companies can be optimized.
