The party leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, asked regarding the arrival of US investigators to fight crime and corruption, and the support of the Government in that fight, expressed great doubt that in the face of everyday examples of law breaking and abuse there is hope to crime and corruption are suppressed.
Mickoski pointed out that with the current government and officials in other state institutions, crime and corruption can only deepen and therefore elections and new people are needed who will lead those institutions in the fight against crime and corruption.
“With these people in these institutions, not only is there no hope, but corruption and crime can only deepen”, added the opposition leader.
“The man who has been the head of the Ministry of Interior for seven years, the government which has been the government for more than five years, and the party which has been part of that government for more than 20 years and which are the cause of crime and corruption in Macedonia cannot be the solution”, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE.
