Bomb threats at the Skopje airport and part of the schools were false, security checks still ongoing, says MoI

Checks for bomb threats in several schools and Skopje Airport on Friday have been completed and it has been determined that the reports were false.

The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that the inspection of the Skopje International Airport has been completed, in part of the schools, and it has been established that it is a question of false reports.

After completing the checks in other facilities as well, we will notify accordingly, the Ministry of Interior said on Friday.

The checks have been completed in the “Aleksandar Palace” hotel and the guests have returned to their rooms.
