MEPSO has not yet received a formal announcement on the increase in the price of electricity from January by the Regulatory Commission, stated the MEPSO CEO Orhan Mutrezani, after the start of the construction of the 110 square meter Veles-Ovche Pole transmission line.
“After we receive a formal announcement that the price will be changed, MEPSO will make all the calculations and they will be submitted to the Regulatory Commission in a timely manner,” said Murtezani.
Asked if there is a possibility of a higher electricity price due to increased costs, Murtezani replied that it would depend on the calculations.
“If the calculations show that the transmission tariff of MEPSO should be increased, of course we will ask for it,” said Murtezani.
