Constitutional amendments are the least of all problems, said the Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani on Tuesday.
Minister Osmani said that he saw a survey according to which many citizens of the country think that the negotiations with the EU have not started, for which he blamed the propaganda of the opposition.
“This propaganda that is being made about the process has convinced many people that the negotiations have not started. They have started with their most important part – the screening and continue throughout the year. And Albania has to fulfill many conditions. Constitutional amendments are the easiest issue that we have to solve in the negotiation process. There are so many difficult reforms and compromises in the Europeanization process itself, so that the entire EU membership process is a fulfillment of criteria. Croatia had to change the Constitution two or three times in order to become a member,” said Osmani during an interview with TV Telma’s “Top Tema” political show.
