The first advance payment in the amount of 123.2 million denars has been realized and already these days 9,563 fruit growers will receive the first subsidy of 12,000 denars per hectare on their accounts, said the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water of the Republic of Macedonia on Friday.
The Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development made the payment for financial support from the measure – direct payments per arable agricultural area for the maintenance of existing orchards. Beneficiaries of this sub-measure are all agricultural holdings that have a minimum of 0.2 ha of area with existing fruit plantations and are registered in the register of agricultural holdings.
