The Prime Mi0nister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, also spoke on the occasion of the attack on Serbian young men near Shtrpce, who said that even on the holy Orthodox night, Serbs in Kosovo are not safe.
The Prime Minister also wrote on Twitter that she condemns this crime, as well as that she demands that the international community react immediately and that the culprits be brought to justice.
“Even on the holy Orthodox evening, Serbs in Kosovo are not safe. I strongly condemn this crime and ask the international community to react immediately and bring the culprits to justice. This is another in a series of terrible incidents, which show the seriousness of the conditions in which Serbs in Kosovo live on a daily basis. When daily and systemic violence is constantly underestimated, then extremism spreads rapidly from the illusory temporary leadership of the entire society, and crimes become the common everyday life of the oppressed. Kosovo – the last European ghetto”, tweeted the Prime Minister.
