The European Handball Federation issued a statement on Sunday with advertisements about the alleged “scandal” with match-fixing in which several referees are involved, among them Macedonian Gjorgi Nachevski and Slave Nikolov.

The EHF said in a statement that so far there is no evidence of match-fixing as reported by the Danish television station TV2, which refers to matches in 2016 and 2017.

In December 2018, the European Handball Federation forwarded the investigation documentation to the national and international level. To date, these police investigations have yielded no results and the speculations remain unconfirmed after the investigation.
