Kovachevski’s government is the government of Bulgaria and Albania, not only the government of Macedonia, that’s why they rule with pressure and blackmail. There is no request of Albania and Bulgaria that they did not fulfill, said opposition VMRO-DPMNE in a press release on Sunday.
“The anti-government mood among the people increases with every violent attempt by Kovachevski and SDS to maintain themselves in power artificially. They know that in SDS, Kovachevski knows that too. That is why they are so nervous. That is why they do not know who to blame for their desperate policy. First they hit the media, now they are hitting their members and MPs who are in favor of early elections. Their MPs, who are clear that Kovachevski’s government is maintained on apparatuses, are under serious pressure and threats both direct and indirect from intermediaries, but also thugs and characters from the underground. A growing number of SDS members and their officials realize that the agony with this government can be stopped only with snap elections. They see that SDS has turned into a government pendant of DUI and every day that Kovachevski is in power is bad for both SDS and Macedonia,” reads the party’s press release.
