The Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski announced that there will be a new increase in pensions, recalling what happened last year, when they grew by 10 percent. With the announced increase, the growth of pensions, according to Kovachevski, will amount to 16 percent in one calendar year.
An increase in the minimum wage by MKD 2,200 was announced by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski in his address that opened the two-day conference “Year of New Opportunities”.
As the Prime Minister pointed out, with the amendments to the Minimum Wage Law passed in 2023, instead of the current MKD 18,000, it will amount to MKD 20,200.
