Orce Gjorgjievski elected as new president of ZELS

The Mayor of the City of Skopje Danela Arsovska was dismissed from the position of president at a session of the Association of Local Self-Government Units on Monday.
At today’s session of ZELS, at the request of the mayors from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE, her dismissal was proposed, and the proposal for a new president was made by the Mayor of Kisela Voda Municipality, Orce Georgievski.
The majority of members of the Management Board of ZELS adopted the proposals.
“The vice-presidents of ZELS, Visar Ganiu, mayor of the Municipality of Chair and Pero Kostadinov, mayor of the Municipality of Valandovo, remain in the same position, and the previous president of ZELS, Danela Arsovska, mayor of the City of Skopje, continues with the activities in this body, as a member of the Administrative board,” reads the press release issued by ZELS.
