Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski sent a congratulatory message to the citizens for the New Year’s holidays in which he claims that although the past year “wasn’t easy at all”, his Government accomplished “a lot within the limits of the possibilities”.
“We leave another year behind us, a year that was not easy at all. Nevertheless, we should be proud of what we have accomplished. We worked hard, with commitment and focus amid the most difficult crisis. We worked to make life better, so that everyone has a bit more. And most importantly, no one was left alone,” reads the holiday greeting.
The prime minister, without specifying any data, said that “foreign investments have doubled, unemployment has decreased and employment increased” in the past year, and that the Government continued to transform the country into a “green energy hub in Europe”.
